Edinburgh Printmakers is proud to launch a new print edition by Victoria Crowe. The print can be purchased exclusively through Edinburgh Printmakers at a special launch price of £950.
Crowe created the print at Edinburgh Printmakers in autumn 2021 from drawings made during two earlier residencies at Dumfries House.
“I made many drawings of the 350-year-old sycamore within the estate. Part of the Garden’s restoration program had been remedial work to ensure the tree's survival... it’s a wonderful surviving specimen seen high against the sky.”
The five colour print combines woodblock, screenprint and lithograph to create a delicately layered work, produced by Alastair Clark as an edition of 50 prints. All prints are signed and numbered by the artist.
