As part of the project Castle Mills: Then & Now | 900 Stories in Print, Edinburgh Printmakers commissioned artist printmaker Tess Glen to produce a print edition inspired by the stories collected throughout 2024-2025 centered on Fountainbridge and the west of Edinburgh.
Tess explored this unique collection of stories, which span memories of the area's industrial past, social history, experiences of walking along the canal, creative pasttimes and hopes for the future to inspire this print. Through this process, she hoped to capture the many diverse voices, memories, and perspectives that Edinburgh Printmakers has collected.
