The image in this print is from the South of France, behind Collioure and Port Cendres. At the bottom is now a fast road - but Charles Rennie Mackintosh and his wife Margaret used to live in Port Vendres, and they called the area the 'Happy Valley' because they used to love going on long walks in the area.
"We did follow that track once, but unfortunately the roads are in the way of parts now - but it's still very beautiful."
The little huts, called casots, are where the vineyard workers would shelter and keep their equipment. They're often white, but you get them in all different colours.
"I wanted to keep the colours of the print quite muted, and so that's why it's called Late Summer in the Vineyards. When the vines are beginning to die down you get the gold and the green, when the grapes have been picked but they haven't got the gorgeous rusty colour that you get later."
