Jones felt that in producing this work for the 2026 Members Print Exchange, her main challenge was to make an edition, which she had never done before. Most of her work is made on tetra-pac plates which degrade and change. All the prints are as similar as they can be, though the pieces are collaged together. 

"I couldn't just print repeatedly - all the impressions were quite involved. I used my favourite colours, and integrated an old dressmaking pattern into the work, which is where the theme of 'seam lines' came from. I used this theme to show the connections between the layers and the colours, as well as through the print exchange itself."
