Jiayi Wu (b. 2001) is a Chinese multidisciplinary artist and printmaker based in Edinburgh. She has developed her practice through courses at Edinburgh College of Art and Edinburgh Printmakers.
 
Her practice explores identity, mobility, traces of time and the shifting balance of everyday life. Drawing on personal documents, domestic objects and travel traces, she considers how ordinary materials carry personal histories and emotional weight. Working across printmaking, artist books, sculpture and mixed media, she is drawn to bold colour contrasts, combining these with layered tones, repeated marks and tactile surfaces to give form to experiences that are difficult to express directly.
