EDINBURGH PRINTMAKERS

Edinburgh Printmakers was established in 1967 as the first open access studio in the UK. We provide facilities, expertise and opportunities for artists to develop their practice, networks and professional experience. We recognise and respond to artists at different stages in their careers, and we value diversity as a driver for artistic excellence and creative risk-taking.

In April 2019, we opened the doors to our new home, an old rubber factory incorporating studios, shop, cafe and two galleries. Our vision is to create an international centre with world-class facilities and exceptional models of support for artists where audiences and communities can connect with our work and we can connect with the world.

CORK PRINTMAKERS

Founded in 1991, Cork Printmakers is a professional print studio, gallery and resource organisation providing artists with facilities and equipment to create artwork through the medium of print. Located at Wandesford Quay in the heart of Cork City, Ireland, it supports and promotes the creation and development of new work through our studios, exhibitions, events and education and outreach programme, promoting the highest standards of practice in printmaking.

Cork Printmakers' activities include commissions to artists who have experienced migration; collaborations with women and teenagers seeking asylum associated with Cork Migrant Centre at Nano Nagle Place; a residency for an artist from a refugee background organised with Create in Dublin; open days and events for Cork Heritage Day and Culture Night; workshops for festivals in Cork such as LGBT+ Pride and Traveller Pride.

FUNEN PRINTMAKING STUDIO

Fyns Grafiske Værksted (Funen Printmaking Studio) was established in 1976 in Odense and is the only institution with both studios and gallery for printmakers in Denmark.

We currently have 300 professional working artists from 20 nations as our members. We exhibit guest artists from abroad, we have small external exhibitions, guided tours in the studio and courses for anyone interested in printmaking.

Funen Printmaking Studio is a private institution based on the terms of an association of artists. Our vision is to be a supportive factor in the Danish artist society and to maintain possibilities and development for our artist through a functional studio and a gallery.

Funen Printmaking Studio is supported by the municipality of Odense and some of our projects are supported by the Danish State Cultural Fondation.

INTERNATIONAL CENTRE OF GRAPHIC ARTS

It is also a gallery and a production and residential centre for artists. The institution's best-known activity is the Ljubljana Biennale of Graphic Arts, launched in 1955 and considered the oldest graphic arts event in the world. Since 2017, it also manages MGLC Švicarija.

The MGLC Print Studio offer artists the opportunity to print in a variety of printmaking techniques and is intended as a research laboratory available to local and international artists, as well as for educational purposed. Every year, our Board of Experts selects edition projects that are financed and produced at the Studio.

AGA LAB

AGA LAB in Amsterdam is a makers' space, a laboratory for artists, designers and other creative professionals who want to experiment with graphic techniques. Used by around 300 people every year, it offers a Do it Yourself workspace where users can experiment with the processes of etching, lithography, doka, high pression, (textile) screenprinting, riso and digital printing.

Founded in 1958 as a facility for Amsterdam-based artists who couldn't afford their own studio, AGA LAB has grown into a well-equipped open atelier and organises master classes, workshops, lectures and presentations. We strive to research the medium in as many perspectives as possible, and also research environmental and circular workflow in the graphic arts.
