On Sunday, 16 October at 2pm, join us for a demo and talk by Mousa AlNana, centered around the work that he developed around his residency at Edinburgh Printmakers this summer.
The printmaking demo and artist talk will run for two hours. The event is free of charge, but booking is required in advance as there are limited slots.
About the artist:
Mousa AlNana was born and raised in Homs, Syria, and is now based in Glasgow, Scotland. He started his career at a young age. After graduating from Sobhi Shoieb Art Centre, he studied Fine Arts at Damascus University and graduated in 2010. He holds a master’s degree from Glasgow School of Art.
Mousa AlNana has won awards and participated in many exhibitions and art workshops between Syria, Egypt, Greece, and Scotland. Mousa has more than nine years of experience in painting and graphic design, as well as having been lead art instructor at different workshops and events.
Mousa believes in art and the powerful role it plays in revolutions and storytelling. He hopes one day, to leave his own unique mark on the canvas of the art world.
