Join us for a pop-up exhibition and celebration of the work made by our summer school participants!
Friday 29th July, from 12-3pm
North Edinburgh Arts
West Pilton Neighbourhood Centre
19 W Pilton Grove, Edinburgh EH4 4BY
Open to all, just turn up!
Facilitated by Distanced Assemblage (artists Paria Goodarzi and Francisco Llinas), Alternative Tracks is a friendly, welcoming space to meet neighbouring communities, members of the arts industry, political representatives, and newly arrived people in different locations in Edinburgh.
The project started in Haymarket in May and has moved to Pilton in July, where over four weeks we have had the chance to meet new people, learn from each other, be creative, and share new skills. Together, we have developed a series of printed textile works inspired by our diversity, and the places we are living in.
Come and see our work and join us for a friendly celebration!
Developed as part of Edinburgh Printmakers' programme In from the Margins.
Alternative Tracks has been awarded funding from City of Edinburgh Council's Flexible Fund (Diversity & Inclusion). Made possible with the support of the Creative Europe Programme of the European Union.
