Edinburgh Canal Festival 2026

As part of the Edinburgh Canal Festival 2026, Edinburgh Printmakers will be hosting a fantastic open day event. You can expect amazing workshops, the opportunity to join our tours, and discover our gallery along with our shop. The courtyard and garden will be open with easy access to our on-site café, KUBA, who will be serving delicious food and beverages.

For those strolling along the Canal Towpath, be sure to stop by our stall at the Leamington Lift Bridge. Our friendly staff members will be on hand to tell you more about what we do, answer any questions and give live printmaking demonstrations.

Along with our stall, there will also be a Play Doh printmaking workshop at our Castle Mills studio, just a 2 minute walk from the canal, which is available to book in advance here. Spaces on the day are subject to availability. 

Keen to hear a bit more about what we do and explore the building? You can join a tour of our historic Castle Mills building and see how it was transformed from ruins into the fabulous creative hub you know today. Tours can also be booked in advance here. 

Finally, there will also be a chance to check out the current exhibitions in our galleries: Susan Aldworth: Belongings and Modern Alchemy, as well as the Members Print Exchange 2026.
