Exhibition Preview: Our Shared World: Castle Mills Members Show 5

Overview

Edinburgh Printmakers warmly invites you to the launch of the upcoming exhibition Our Shared World: Castle Mills Members Show 5.

Thursday 27 November

6:30-8:30pm

Each year, Edinburgh Printmakers Studio Members are invited to respond to a collective theme, encouraging artist members to create new work for the show. This year’s theme - Our Shared World - considers how we take up space locally and globally as citizens of the world.

From shifting social, cultural and economic landscapes to the physical and environmental impacts we have on the planet, the works in the exhibition explore the realities of co-existing with each other and with the places we occupy.

Spanning a range of mediums, including screenprinting, lithography, etching, relief and 3D mixed-media pieces, the exhibition includes work by 124 of the 280 Studio Members who work at Edinburgh Printmakers.

This event is free, and all are welcome. We encourage booking online in advance via the link below. Availability on the evening will be dependent on capacity, with refreshments served on arrival. Edinburgh Printmakers' onsite cafe KUBA will operate a paid bar following this.
