Mersehead is an area on the Solway coast which is an RSPB reserve. It’s a beautiful area to walk along the beach in the summer and there is always lots of Flotsam and Jetsam. In the winter it changes again completely and becomes a lovely place to birdwatch, particularly the large amount of Barnacle geese who overwinter here. I am drawn back to this area time and time again.
