Christine Wylie
"My art practice demonstrates systematic ways of working with mediums that explore line, form and space. I use light and shade to create etchings and lithographs based on geometric constructs, producing images that suggest presence and absence, space and non-space. Conus Ater is an image of unfurling paper cones, that were photographed and processed using photopolymer etching plates, which enabled me to achieve high quality intaglio prints with continuous tones of subtle greys and soft velvety blacks."
