Kate Downie
Image size 40 x 51.3cm
In 2009 Kate Downie made two lithographs at Edinburgh Printmakers with the support of printer Alastair Clark: Long Light from the Late Train and Ferry Down the Forth.
Ferry Down the Forth was based on a drawing quickly scribbled on the back of an envelope from the fast ferry from Zeebrugge to Rosyth. This particular view can only be found from the bow or bridge of a large ship.
