Clare Padgett

Biography
I’m an art college graduate who has discovered a love of printmaking since leaving college. I did many evening classes screen printing on textiles and more recently have started exploring intaglio printing techniques. I’m currently mostly making collagraphs from tetrapak plates. I fit my printmaking in around a full-time job but relish my time in the studio. I love the reveal of lifting the paper from the plate, filled with joy when occasionally the results are better than anticipated.
