Graeme Todd
BIOGRAPHY
Graeme Todd was born in Glasgow and grew up in Cumbernauld. He studied painting at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art and Design in Dundee from 1979 to 1985 before teaching at Edinburgh College of Art. Here he was regarded as one of ECA's most inspirational painting tutors over the past 30 years.
Todd's prints explore the interaction between landscape and monochromatic painting. He was influenced by oriental art and 19th century romantic paintings of the sublime.
He has exhibited widely throughout the UK and abroad, including in Edinburgh, Leeds, Switzerland and Japan.
