Clare Grossman
BIOGRAPHY
Born in London, Clare Grossman attained her Masters of Arts in Fine Art Printmaking in the 1990’s from Camberwell school of Arts. There she first developed her interest in unique one-off variable prints, evolving her practice to explore beautiful light, contrasts of solidity & the mysterious substance of shadows. Her resulting images are a means of personal exploration, both of technique and of subject, developed through an understanding of structure and form, memory and experience. Clare reveals artworks that are infused with the physical and instantaneous joy of mark making.
Her artwork is held with and has been commissioned by a wide range of corporate & commercial organisations in the UK and Abroad, including BUPA Contemporary Art Collections, Claridges, Princess Noura University in Saudi Arabia, Scarborough Museum, Victoria & Albert Museum & ArtUK.
