Ronald Wilson

Biography

Ronald Wilson was educated in Edinburgh and attended Dundee College of Art. After leaving college he worked in various advertising agencies as an artist/illustrator. Ronald worked for The Scotsman publications from 1976-1992 and became the Studio Manager. He joined the Printmakers Workshop in 1976 at the Fruitmarket Gallery, where he produced some lithographic prints. 

 

Ronald left the Scotsman and opened a secondhand bookshop in Edinburgh's Victoria Street from 1993-2018. In the 1990's he joined the Printmakers Workshop in Union Street. He started producing Artists Books, lithographs, and paintings of New York, Tuscany, Folkestone, Hastings and some Scottish and abstract subjects. In the 2020's Ronald has been experimenting with Cyanotype prints, Monoprints and Lithography.
