Lucy Caster is an emerging artist based in Edinburgh. Graduating from Duncan of Jordanstone in 2018 with a BA in Textile Design she has since been developing a body of works based on urban scenes found around the capital and other city locations. Her work is largely inspired by industrial landscapes, particularly construction sights, as she enjoys using drawing to document and provide a snapshot of these temporary and unique moments in time. Lucy uses an illustrative and playful style in her work, abstracting scenes through expressive mark making and contemporary colour palettes to create vibrant compositions.
