BIOGRAPHY
I live in Edinburgh and I create artwork and prints in my spare time. Having completed part-time courses on Painting and Drawing, and Printmaking at Edinburgh College of Art, I have continued to study print-making at Edinburgh Printmakers for a number of years. I enjoy the atmosphere and the working environment there.
The Scottish environment provides inspiration for my work. The countryside and gardens provide source material for pictures, prints and collagraphs. I make intaglio prints using drypoint, etching and collagraph. The collagraphs in particular can result in novel and exciting prints, where a wide selection of materials are used to form the printing plate. I enjoy working with woodcut and linocut and plan to combine different print styles.
