Marking Time #1, 2021
I work with traditional media and new technology, writing poetry, making prints, drawings and sound installations along with painting and photography.
Printmaking is an important part of my practice as through it I have the technical skills that enable me to plan and prepare to create a series of works. My work uses patterns and marks from nature to engage viewers with images as poetic spaces. I try to impart a mediative quality, locating an otherworldliness in the marks which hint at our own fragile world.
