Silke Heuer
Silke Heuer's interest in printmaking began during studying for a degree in jewellery and silversmithing at the Sir John Cass School of Art in London, and she now works in both disciplines.
She develops her prints combining different etching techniques and often uses multiple plates. Modernism is a continuous inspiration and influence, the subject matter abstraction, interior spaces and still life. Despite the visible energy of mark making there is a sense of stillness in her work.
