Marketing & Communications Producer

We are looking for an experienced senior professional with an enterprising mindset and flair to deliver an engaging marketing and communications strategy across each strand of organisational activity. The successful candidate will be a winning communicator with a passion for printmaking and the visual arts and the ability to build our profile and reputation. They will have a proven track record of delivering high profile campaigns, managing media relations and executing digital content strategies to engage audiences across Scotland and beyond.

Working closely with the CEO and Senior Management Team (SMT), the post holder will have responsibility for planning and implementing all marketing, communications, PR and audience development activity including Edinburgh Printmakers’ social media platforms and website.

Studio Assistant Training Opportunities

Edinburgh Printmakers is looking for dynamic and motivated individuals with proven printmaking experience to assist in the practical running of the print studio.

This is a voluntary position, based in an active printmaking studio giving staff and artists general printmaking assistance, learning many key skills related to printmaking and the running of a print studio. Assisting with the preparation of printmaking courses, limited-edition print publishing and helping the team of printmaking technicians maintain and run the professional studio facilities.

This training opportunity is intended to offer a broad ranging experience, developing many practical skills.
Free studio access is included as a key part of this opportunity.

Eligibility
An arts background is expected, preferably at degree level or HND level at minimum along with good proven previous printmaking experience as essential

  • 2 days per week
  • Placements last minimum 3 months, maximum 6 months
  • Comes with Free Studio use and places on printmaking courses
