Part time Finance Assistant

Reports to: Finance Co-ordinator 

Location: Edinburgh Printmakers, Carmichael Place Office, Edinburgh

Contract: 21 Hours per week, preliminary 1-year contract. Working days are typically Monday-Friday however the post-holder may, on occasion, need to work evenings and weekends. Working pattern can be discussed at interview. 3 Month probation period, 1 months’ notice.

Salary: £17,163 pro rata

Finance Assistant with experience in Sage Line 50 required to join a small team in busy office. Administration tasks as required using Microsoft Excel & Word. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and good attention to detail. Ability to work on own initiative.

Main Duties and Requirements:

- Purchase & Sales ledger invoicing

- Process Cash Takings

- Web Sales

- Artist & Print Sales

- Credit Control

- Bank Payments & Receipts

 

Candidates should have previous experience in a similar role and a good working knowledge of Sage Line 50.

Computer literacy is essential and the candidate should have proven experience of working with computers, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel.

Training will be provided where deemed necessary.
