Campaign Fundraising Officer

Reports to: Project Development Manager  

Location: Edinburgh Printmakers, Bonnington Bond Office, Edinburgh

Contract: Full time, preliminary 1-year contract. Working typically Monday-Friday however the post-holder may, on occasion, need to work evenings and weekends. 3 Month probation period, 2 months notice.

Salary: £25,655 Pro rata

We are looking for a Campaign Fundraising Officer with experience of fundraising through trust and foundations, major giving fundraising campaigns, patron schemes and corporate giving to help close the remaining capital fundraising gap.

The post holder will help deliver the capital fundraising strategy to meet the challenges and targets set throughout the capital appeal campaign. You will work closely with the fundraising team, and the wider staff team to help close the remaining capital fundraising gap.

You will help to identify, initiate, develop and build relationships with high net worth individuals, trusts, foundations and corporate prospects, helping to manage the relationships to maximize income for the Edinburgh Printmakers Capital Appeal and beyond.

Development Officer

Reports to: Project Development Manager

Contract: 21 Hours per week, preliminary 1-year contract. Working days are typically Monday-Friday however the post-holder may, on occasion, need to work evenings and weekends. Working pattern can be discussed at interview. 3 Month probation period, 2 months notice.

Salary: £25,655 Pro rata 

We are looking for a Development Officer with experience managing and developing regular giving programmes, events and digital fundraising, with excellent copy writing skills to create compelling and inspiring applications to Trust and Foundations. You will work closely with the fundraising team, and the wider staff team to help close the remaining capital fundraising gap and capitalize upon core fundraising opportunities to achieve core fundraising targets. 

As well as contributing to Capital Project target income by managing regular giving and online fundraising initiatives, you will support and steer fundraising initiatives for core revenue and project costs.

The post holder will help deliver the capital fundraising strategy to meet the challenges and targets set throughout the capital appeal campaign while supporting the strategy around ongoing income revenue. You will help to identify, initiate, develop and build relationships with trusts, foundations and the Friends of EP, managing the relationships to maximize income for the Edinburgh Printmakers Capital Appeal and beyond.

Studio Assistant - Voluntary position

Work pattern: 2 days a week, may include some weekends and some evenings.

Duration: 6 months in total, with an initial 3-month review period

Placement Outline
Edinburgh Printmakers is looking for a dynamic and motivated individual with proven printmaking experience to assist in the practical running of the print studio. You will work in an active printmaking studio giving artists general printmaking assistance. Assisting with the preparation of printmaking courses, limited-edition print publishing, gallery installation and helping the team of printmaking technicians maintain and run the professional studio facilities.This opportunity is intended to offer a broad ranging experience, developing many practical skills.

An arts background is expected, preferably at degree level or HND level at minimum along with good proven previous printmaking experience as essential

Hours
Your hours are 2 days per week, (14 Hours) Tuesday-Saturday, including some Saturdays or evenings as required. Some flexibility with hours may be negotiated with both parties, including occasional evening and weekend work. This is a 3 month placement minimum period up to a maximum of 6 months.

This is an unpaid position however in addition to the 2 days working for Edinburgh Printmakers, undertaking duties as described in the job description, you will have access to work In Edinburgh Printmakers studio during normal opening hours to pursue your own art-projects. 

In exchange for the volunteering time, you may work in the studio for 2 days per week FREE to advance your own printmaking practice.

(Normal studio hours are Tuesday-Thursday 10am-9pm, Friday & Saturday 10am-6pm)

At the end of the 6 month position you also receive 3 months free membership and 3 month sessions free.
