Print Studio Assistant
Edinburgh Printmakers is looking for a dynamic and motivated individual with good printmaking experience to assist in the practical running of the print studio. You will work in an active printmaking studio giving artists general printmaking assistance. Assisting with the preparation of printmaking courses, limited-edition print publishing, and helping the team of printmaking technicians maintain and run the professional studio facilities.
It's a three-month voluntary position, upgradable to 6 months. 2 days a week, between Tuesday-Saturday with one evening at some point during the time.

Gallery & Sales Intern
Edinburgh Printmakers is looking for Gallery & Sales Intern.
Our free admission galleries adjoin our open-access fine-art printmaking studio and a shop where your tasks will range from running of its busy gallery spaces and front of house reception. You will be dealing with a wide range of people from our members and education course participants, to print buyers and exhibiting artists.
It's a four-month voluntary internship post for 2 days a week (to be agreed but will have to be between Tuesday and Saturday). This is a non-paid role but we can offer Interns up to £20 a month for travel.

Invigilators for a Temporary Exhibition at Traquair House
The purpose of this role is to invigilate an ambitious international visual arts exhibition, presented by Beyond Borders and Edinburgh Printmakers at Traquair House in the Scottish Borders this Summer.
Exhibition Description: Beyond Borders Scotland and Edinburgh Printmakers present a ground-breaking new artwork inviting Scots to dig into their past, and discuss and discover their own identity, will be exhibited at Traquair House this year from 26 July to 5 October. ‘The Debatable Land’ by South African painter-poet Peter Sacks takes the form of a 7ft high, 12ft wide triptych, which Sacks describes as “monumental yet intimate”, and will be on show in the early eighteenth century pavilions at Traquair House.
Hours of Work: We are offering daily shifts from 11.30am to 4pm ending on the 05 October. We are looking for several people to cover these shifts and will produce a weekly Rota in discussion with post holders.
Dates: to 05 October 2014
Salary: £7 per hour
